<p> The Southern Cassowary is frequently known as the Double-wattled Cassowary. Other names include: Australian Cassowary and Two-wattled Cassowary. The male and female look similar but the female is larger and heavier. </p><p> They are found in tropical rainforest of Indonesia, New Guinea, and northeastern Australia where they diet is fruit. They are important element in the dispersal of seeds in the forests. </p>
