The Townsend's Warbler is found in western North America where they
breed in Alaska, Canada and northern U.S.
They winter along the Pacific coast, the U.S. southwest, Mexico and
Central America.
They are closely related to the Hermit Warbler and will interbreed
with them if their ranges overlap.
They mainly eat insects, spiders and seeds during the breeding
season and berries and plant nectar in the winter.
