The migrant Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (U.S.) or Blue-grey Gnatcatcher populations
breed in southern Ontario, eastern and southwestern U.S. and northern Mexico.
They winter in the southwestern U.S., Mexico and Central America.
Permanent resident populations are found along the both coasts of the U.S. and parts of
Mexico.
They forage in trees and shrubs eating insects, insect eggs and spiders.
