One of the subspecies of the Canada Goose, the Aleutian Goose is smaller and usually has a white ring around its neck. The day I saw this species in Hayward, it was Goose heaven. There were Canada Geese, Greater White-fronted Geese, Ross's Geese, Snow Geese, and Cackling Geese.
