The Andean Cock-of-the-rock is found in the cloud forest of the Andes in Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia. They mostly eat fruits and insects but will also eat frogs, lizards and army ants. The sexes are dimorphic and look very different. It's Conservation Status is 'Least Concern'.
