The Arctic Tern breeds around the Arctic Ocean and the Northrn tip of Greenland. It then migrates to the Antarctica for its winter. This is the longest regular migration by any known animal. Many Arctic Terns live long lives (30 years). They forage by both diving and surface-dipping for small fish, crustaceans, and other invertebrates.
