The Brown-headed Cowbird ranges throughout North America.
It seems that I see more of them in the East Bay (Cesar Chavez
Park in Berkeley) than I did a few
years ago.
Either I am recognizing them more, or their population has increased.

The Brown-headed Cowbird lays its eggs in the nest of other small
perching birds.
