Golden Eagles are extremely fast. They can dive to speeds of more than 150 mph. They use their speed to catch rabbits, marmots, and ground squirrels. They also eat reptiles, fish, birds, and large insects.

You can spot Golden Eagles sometimes at the Sibley Volcanic Regional Preserve in the Berkeley/Oakland Hills.
