The Green Woodhoopoe is also known as the Green Wood Hoopoe and formerly known as the Red-billed Wood Hoopoe. They are common in the forest, woodland and suburban gardens of most of sub-Saharan Africa. They eat insects including termites. Their IUCN Conservation Status is 'Least Concern'
