The Indigo Bunting is found in the eastern half of the U.S. and parts of the southwest. The beautiful blue of the males is quite striking and makes them easily recognizable during breeding season. During breeding season they eat spiders, insects, seeds and berries. During winter they mainly eat grass seeds.
