The Mindanao Bleeding-heart is found in the Philippines. There are three subspecies of Mindanao Bleeding-hearts. The pictures from San Diego are of the subspecies Gallicolumba crinigera bartletti or Bartlett's Bleeding-heart Dove which is believed extinct on Basilan. Their Conservation status is 'Vulnerable'.
