The Pelagic Cormorant is also know as the Baird's Cormorant. While not as common as the Double-crested Cormorant, you can see them fairly frequently in the Bay Area. For a couple of years, one nested at the breakwater at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley, CA. Like the Brandt's Cormorant they are a West Coast bird.

Pelagic Cormorant's can dive as deep as 100 feet to feed on the sea bottom.
