The Pompadour Cotinga is found in Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyamna, Peru, Suriname and Venezuela. They are sexually diamorphic with the male mostly crimson purple with some white and the female is mostly gray. Their IUCN conservation status is 'Least Concern'.
