The Rainbow Lorikeet is a species of Australasian parrot found in Australia, it Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, New Caledonia, Solomon Islands and Vanuatu. They feed mainly on fruit, pollen and nectar. Their time is equipped with a papillate appendage adapted to collecting nectar from flowers. Their IUCN Conservation Status is 'Least Concern'
