Egretta refescens Length: 27-32"

The Reddish Egret as a species is dimorphic. There is a dark morph and a white morph. Even though they are the same species, I have listed them separate to better keep track of my observations. Reddish Egrets searches for food in shallow waters. It eats fish, frogs, crustaceans and insects.

Their IUCN conservation status is 'Near Threatened'.
