<i>Ajaia ajaja</i> Length: 32" <p> Roseate Spoonbills are a neat bird. Their flat bills are designed for eating crustaceans and other aquatic beetles and bugs by swinging their bill back and forth. I saw quite a few of them in the Galveston, Texas region and in Southern Florida. In Galveston, it looked like they were starting nests. </p><p> They are so photogenic that it was hard to glean my photos down. </p>
