Copsychus malabaricus Length: 9-11"

The White-rumped Shama is a medium-sized bird that mainly eats insects. They also eat berries and other fruit. They were formerly in the thrush family, but are more often now treated as part of the Old World Flycatcher Musciacapidae.

There were introduced to Oahu from South Asia in 1940. They are shy but are very territorial.
