The White Cockatoo is also known as the Umbrella Cockatoo. They can live up to eighty years and are endemic to Indonesia. This bird is highly intelligent and is much in demand for pets. Because of that it is considered a vulnerable species and it is illegal to trap it for cage-bird trade.

I found them in the wild at the Lyon Arboretum on Oahu. Their very load screeching sound caught my attention.
