The White Ibis is a wading bird that lives in marshy wetlands and ponds near the coast. It also likes city parks which is where I saw some fairly close up in New Orleans. White Ibis feed by probing with their long, tonged beak. They eat fish, frogs and other water creatures such as frogs and insects.
