<i>Black Diamond Mines</i> <img src="Icons/D_blue.png"> <p> </p> <p> Originally a coal mine and later mined for sand, Black Diamond Mines became a park in the early 1970s. It is almost 5,375 acres and we have had some nice hikes there. I especially like the rock formations (see the enhanced picture below). People have also reported quite a few birds there.
