A popular birding place in Walnut Creek. Walking along the paths around the lakes, you can see Northern Rough-winged Swallows, Bushtits, Chestnut-backed Chickadees, Oak Titmouse, Western Bluebirds, and Nuttall's Woodpeckers. I have seen Sharp-shinned Hawks and Red-shoulder Hawks. The water mostly has Canada Geese and Domestic-Feral Waterfowl, but you can sometimes see Grebes, ducks, etc.
