Ann and Lester Johnston and Margaret and Harold Charter were good friends. When
Ann and Les came to California on their honeymoon in 1942, they stayed
with Margaret and Harold. Six months later Ann and Les moved to California,
and in the ensuing years
had many weekend outings with Margaret and Harold.
These images are from 35mm Kodak color transparencies (“slides”), which
Les started shooting in the late 1930’s.
