Reddish-Dark Morph Egret: The Reddish Egret as a species is dimorphic. There is dark morph and a white morph. I have pictures of both morphs. Even though they are the same species, I have listed them separate to better keep track of my observations. They are found in Florida, the Gulf Coast, and East Mexico through the West Indies to North Columbia and North Venezuela.
Reddish Egrets searches for food in shallow waters. It eats fish, frogs, crustaceans and insects.
