The Laysan Albatross is a large seabird that ranges across the North Pacific. It is the second most common seabird in the Hawaiian Islands. I saw quite a few of them at the Lighthouse on Kauai. Males are slightly larger than the females. They mostly eat molluscs but will also eat fish, crustaceans and other invertebrates.
