Rhinoceros Auklets are also called the Rhino Auklet, Horn-billed Puffin, Unicorn Puffin or Rhinoceros Puffin. They are found in the north Pacific. They breed from the Channel Islands in California to the Aleutian Islands in Alaska as well as Japan, North Korea and Sakhalin Island in Asia. During breeding season, Rhinoceros Auklets have a vertical white projection at the base of their orange bill and two thin white plumes on their face.
At sea they feed on fish, krill and squid which they catch by diving deep.
