There are four subspecies of the Spotted Laughingthrush. They are found in the Himalayas, India, and South China. Their plumage is striking with its chestnut/brown/buff body covered with black-and-white spots and stripes. Their head is chestnut and brown with a black crown. Bill is gray and legs are pink.
Diet includes insects, fruit and seeds.
