The Green Peafowl is also known as the Java Peafowl. They are found in the tropical forests of Southeast Asia. The lengths above do not include the tail. In males the tail is an additional 40-57 cm and the train, 14-160 cm. In females the tail is an additional 40-45 cm.
Except for the tail, sexes look similar. Diet includes termites, berries, grass seeds, peppers, flower petals, crickets, grasshoppers, and small moths.
