The Cave Swallow is a medium-sized swallow that is found in North America.
They breed in southwest and Florida and winter in Central America.
Permanent resident populations are found in Mexico, and Central America.
There are size subspecies of Cave Swallows.
Diet is insects including wasps, bees and ants.
