While the Glossy Ibis is the most widespread Ibis species in the world, in the U.S. they are only found along the Atlantic Coast, lower Florida, and parts of the gulf Coast. The Glossy Ibis uses its bill to locate food items. They mainly eat vertebrates, larvae, crickets, grasshoppers, etc.
