Great Blue Heron - Ardea herodias

The Great Blue Herons is found throughout most of North America from southern Canada to the Caribbean and into parts of northern South America. Males and females look similar.

Great Blue Herons eat fish, invertebrates, amphibians, reptiles, birds and small animals.
