Bernardo Waterfowl Management Area
Bernardo Waterfowl Management Area
The Bernardo Waterfowl Management Area is south of Albuquerque,
New Mexico and is on the way to Basque del Apache (25 miles north).
It has a car tour with many places to get out and walk.
While I was there in late October, I saw lots of Sandhill Cranes, a Black Phoebe,
Norther Flickers, White-crowned Sparrows, etc.
It is definitely a place to visit.
