Embudito Canyon

Embudito Canyon is in the foothills of the Sandia Mountains on the east side of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was lucky to go there two days running in late October. The first day it was in the high 60's and the second day there was snow on the ground. I saw lots of birds. Some were moving around so much that I had difficultly taking pictures of them. I did see lots of Canyon Towhees, White-capped Sparrows, House Finches, Juncos, and some Gambel's Quail.

The views were fantastic and there was many different varieties of cacti. It is definitely a place worth visiting.
