Bosque del Apache
Bosque del Apache
Bosque del Apache is about 1 1/2 hour drive south of Albuquerque,
New Mexico and is near the town of San Antonia and Socorro.
It is a fantastic place to visit.
It is a great place for Sandhill Cranes and a lot of other birds.
Each year the Bosque has a Crane festival in November.
One of the best birding places is the Visitor's Center.
You can see Gambel's Quail, Verdin, etc.

Afterward, on your way out, there is a nice little Mexican restaurant called Acosta Mexican Restaurant.
It is at 15 Pino S, San Antonio, NM.
