Coronado State Monument

The Coronado State Monument is in Bernalillo, New Mexico just north of Albuquerque. We discovered it because it was near the Tamaya Hyatt Rio Grande. The monument has some interesting ruins and preserved mural paintings.

Some of the highlights for the birding were Gambel's quail, Lesser Goldfinch (Texas varietal), Pine Siskin, Say's Phoebe, Curve-billed Thrasher, House Finch, etc.
