The Red-legged Kittiwake is not a widespread bird and its population is small and decreasing. They are found only in the subarctic Pacific. They nest on vertical sea cliffs, mostly on Alaska's Pribilof Island. Diet is mainly small fish, squid, and marine zooplankton.
