The Royal Tern is found in North America and South America along the southern Pacific and Atlantic coasts. They are also found on the coast of West Africa and Europe. They are a large tern like the Caspian Tern, but their bill is less bulky. They have a short, forked tail.
Diet includes fish and shrimp.
