Black Diamond Mines
Black Diamond Mines
Originally a coal mine and later mined for sand, Black Diamond Mines became a park in the early 1970s.
It is almost 5,375 acres and we have had some nice hikes there.
I especially like the rock formations (see the enhanced picture below).
People have also reported quite a few birds there.
I wasn't so lucky when I visited here, but maybe next time.
