The Barnacle Goose is found mainly on the Arctic islands of the North Atlantic. They breed in eastern Greenland, Svalbard, Novaya Zemlya and the Baltic Sea islands. They winter in Scotland, Netherlands, and the Netherlands.
Diet is mainly vegetarian and includes grasses, sedges and aquatic plants.
