The King Eider is a large sea duck. They breed along the Arctic coasts of northeast Europe, North America, and Asia. In winter they are farther south but are still in the northern areas of North America, Europe and Asia.
Their diet consists of mollusks, crustaceans, echinoderms, and algae.
