The Sunda Teal is a dabbling duck. Other names for this duck are the Indonesian Teal and the Indonesian Grey Teal. Also, this species formerly included the Andaman Teal Anas albogularis and the Grey Teal, Anas gracilis as subspecies. The Sunda Teal is found in Indonesia in open wetlands.
Males and females look similar but the female is slightly smaller with maybe a duller iris. Diet is probably similar to Anas gracilis which includes seeds, aquatic plants, grasses and sedges.
